What are the available engines for the Escape?

There are three available engine options available for the Escape, and there is a tremendous amount of power and capability associated with each. The default engine is a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that delivers a solid 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Optional on the SE and SEL and standard on the Titanium is a highly impressive 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain with a total output of 200 horsepower and pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Need a little more power? You also opt for a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder which gets you an incredible 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque available on the SEL and Titanium trim levels. Front-wheel-drive is the default setup, but you can opt for all-wheel-drive if you want some more added traction. The turbocharged four-cylinder comes standard with all-wheel-drive.

What are the Escape's standard features?

The Ford Escape is one of the best-equipped SUVs on the market, even at the base trim level. With the base S trim, you get several exciting features such as 17-inch steel wheels with plastic covers, cloth upholstery, remote start/lock/unlock, and a 4.2-inch infotainment display. There are also some fantastic tech features such as voice control for the infotainment system, wi-fi connections for up to 10 devices, and several standard safety features such as forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert.
