Who was the 2022 Ford F-150 Lighting Pro created for?

The F-150 Lighting Pro was built for commercial customers. It blends Built Ford Tough power with a high-tech electric platform that adds new capabilities to your business. It was designed to improve productivity and reduce operating costs, all while delivering zero emissions. Ford understands that its commercial customer's trucks are the backbone of their business. This is why they put the F-150 Lighting Pro through extreme tests so that business owners would trust that it would survive any job site. Ford took it one step further with its commercial customers and created the new Ford digital fleet planning tool. This tool can calculate various factors, including purchase and lease costs, federal and regional tax incentives, and regional fuel and energy costs.

How much will the Lighting Pro be able to tow?

F-150 Lightning Pro makes it easy for your business to go electric with incredible new capabilities and easy commercial charging solutions. It is projected to generate 426 horsepower and 775 lb.-ft. of torque when equipped with its standard lithium-ion battery. The Lighting will offer a 2,000-pound maximum payload capacity and a 5,000-pound towing capability with the standard powertrain. If you need more hauling power, buyers will be able to add the Max Trailer Tow package and up their towing capacity to 7,700 pounds. Plus, for even more power Ford gave the Lighting an extended-range version with an estimated EPA range of 300-miles. In this configuration, the powertrain will deliver 563-horsepower and have a four-wheel drive. This version will also offer a tow rating of 10,000 pounds. F-150 Lightning Pro will reduce scheduled maintenance costs by 40% over eight years or 100,000 miles. This will save your business time and money!
