Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost V6 Engine

3.5L EcoBoost® V6

The 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine delivers 375 HP and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, making it a true beast on the road. To achieve these numbers, this engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine and transmission combination produces a maximum towing capacity of 13,200 lbs. and a payload capacity of 3,230 lbs., making for truly impressive specifications. The 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 can be paired with the 2019 F-150 XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch®, and Platinum trims.

Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost V6 Engine

2.7L EcoBoost® V6

A new dual-injection system was incorporated into the 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 engine to boost power and productivity. This engine outputs 325 HP and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, and has a towing capacity of 9,000 lbs. and a payload capacity of 2,470 lbs. The 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 is available on the XL, XLT, and Lariat trim levels.

Ford F-150 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 Engine

3.3L Ti-VCT V6

Selectable drive modes give you the ability to choose output of the 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine based on the driving conditions. This engine achieves 290 HP and 265 lb.-ft. of torque while using a 6-speed automatic transmission. Tow a maximum of 7,700 lbs. with this engine, but keep in mind the 1,990 lbs. maximum payload capacity. This combination of towing and payload provides enough power to tow a small boat or light trailer. The 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 is standard on the 2019 F-150 XL and XLT trims.

Ford F-150 5.0L TI-VCT V8 Engine

5.0L Ti-VCT V8

The 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and pumps out 395 HP and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine has the perfect amount of potency for a towing capacity of 11,500 lbs. and a payload capacity of 3,270 lbs. The 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 is available with the 2019 F-150 XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch®, and Platinum trim levels.

Ford F-150 High Output 3.5L EcoBoost V6 Engine

High-Output 3.5L EcoBoost® V6

The state-of-the-art High-Output 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine paired with 10-speed automatic transmission gives you 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft. of torque to play with. Standard with the 2019 F-150 Limited and Raptor trims, this engine has the capability of 8,000 lbs. towing and 1,200 lbs. of payloadon the Raptor trim and 11,100 lbs. towing and 1,530 lbs. of payload for the Limited trim.

Ford F-150 3.0 Power Stroke Turbo Diesel Engine

3.0L Power Stroke® V6 Turbo Diesel

If you need a robust diesel engine with the specifications to get the toughest jobs done, then the 3.0L Power Stroke® V6 Turbo Diesel is for you. This engine is available on the 2019 F-150 Lariat, King Ranch®, and Platinum trim levels, and emits 250 HP and 440 lb.-ft. of torque. Your hauling needs will be achieved with 11,500 lbs. of towing capacity and 2,020 lbs. of payload capability.

2.7L EcoBoost® V6 vs. 3.5L EcoBoost® V6

So how do the 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 and 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engines stack up against each other? The answer is in the detailed specifications in the table below.
